Users interacting with MIRAGE

When the users look through the magic glasses, Mirage appears to float at a fixed location in the room.

A sensor held in the hand allows MIRAGE to see where users are pointing when they ask about objects in the room.

MIRAGE System Architecture

There are six independent executables in this system: Graphics, Speech Reco, Perception2, Newsblaster, Decision and Psyclone. The processes exchange messages via the sixth executable, Psyclone, configured as a pub-sub sever between the processes. Small red boxes signify Psyclone C++ and Java adapters.
